Preken ved en gravferd…: «Den fasta punkten»
I stille uken fulgte vi min far til den siste hvilen. I samsvar med min fars ønske, holdt jeg prekenen (svensk: «griftetalet») i gravferden over Rom 8,32-39:
Påskens store budskap er at Jesus Kristus Guds Sønn er Stedfortreder og Seierherre. I lys av dette unike påskebudskapet oppdager vi at Jesus er det faste punktet i tilværelsen – i dødens venterom, gjennom døden, i ulike livsfaser og i ulike livsoppgaver.

The Bible passage my Dad had chosen was Rom. 8:32-39. The title of my sermon was «The solid point». This Archimedean illustration emphasizes Jesus as the only real solid point in reality – in the face of death, in various stages of life and in different callings in life.
